For simple welds in large production runs, FR cobots achieve extreme consistency. However, for complex, one-off jobs requiring constant reconfiguration, a human welder still holds the advantage in setup speed.

Thanks to the integrated Force-Torque sensor in every joint, the FR cobot can detect resistance with a precision of 0.1 N. It is ideal for component insertion where a level of "feel" is required—a task previously manageable only by human hands. However, beware of applications with extremely high cycle times (under 2 s), where dedicated automation systems remain faster.
